The free online malware detection service VirusTotal embeds G Data's technology to analyze suspicious URLS.
G Data's analysis tool was included yesterday and the detection results are very satisfactory. Ralf Benzmueller, head of G Data's SecurityLabs comments: "This cooperation with VirusTotal will enable us to detect even more malicious websites."
Users can submit suspicious URLs to the VirusTotal service and receive a detailed report about the results, analyzed by six independent scanners. Expert users can also leave comments about the findings:
